Cannot post to Pesapal.Am getting an error : Problem: consumer_key_unknown | Advice: > | .Am using the consumer key as appears on my mail.

Have created an account on demo but Login credentials invalid.Have tried both the user name and email for the demo-account all are invalid.

You should note that pesapal takes the demo website (demo.pesapal.com) separately from the main website(pesapal.com). You must have separate accounts on both websites.

  • When you sigh up on the demo website you will not receive an email and you will be able to see the consumer key and secret from the dashboard. However when you sign up on the main website, the details will be emailed to you and on your dashboard you will not be able to see them but you can always click resend to get the details again via mail.
  • Also make sure that when connecting to any of the websites you copy only the key or secret without any spaces. you might need to trim these values just incase.
  • I have issues getting on the demo website to sign up as well as login as a mercant so the link below can be helpful. You cant find it anywhere on pesapal :)
