I am facing the exact problems you did (payment confirmation erro/have uninstalled the modules and reinstalled severally/have created other accounts on pesapal home page and used the new IPNs)...everything you did.Did they help you out or have you gotten a workaroud for the problem??am just wondering what bata,zuku and the rest have done to get this plugin on the site.been working around joomla for 5yrs now

If this is the error you are getting:
Problem: parameter_rejected | Advice: invalid_value_amount_exceeds_limit> oauth_parameters_rejected | 1000

The solution is:
1. You are exceeding the maximum cap Pesapal sets on transactions which is KES 70000. Your system must be picking the default currency which is Dollar. You can change the default currency or make KES be default to avoid exceeding the cap limit.

Please let me know if the situation is otherwise.

step1)Its not an issue of currency i,v tried it with PesaPalPayment_v1.6_2 changing currency as you said and when making payments resulted into a blank page just like before instead of confirming,tried this ever since you replied... it didn't work.

step 2)i have even tried the btgpesapal which is used by virtuemat as a payment method and resulted to this which is worse gave me the message below;

Set the Error as Maximum in your Joomla config section. Need to see if the system has some fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class OAuthException in /mnt/data/vhosts/casite-623575.cloudaccess.net/httpdocs/components/com_payment/helpers/oauth.php on line 17
