Hi,

How long does it take for the status of the transaction to change?

I made a transaction yesterday night and till now the status is Pending.

Am creating a food delivery system, and time of response is of the essence here :-)

Hello Nyambura,

Mobile transactions take less than a minute. If you use the wrong verification code, it may Pend for a maximum of 3 days before PesaPal confirms the payment as failed.

Card transactions may take a maximum of 3 days (In case the client doesn't respond to an email sent from our verifications team)

We have an IPN that should help you update your DB immediately a transaction status changes. Please have a look at this example: developer.pesapal.com/forum/2-pesapal-in...-pesapal-php-example

We have a ticketing system in case you need instant support regarding payments made: support.pesapal.com

Thanks Oti,

Yeah am using the wrong verification code :-) . I was testing it and since the demo.pesapal.com seems not to make any status change, I decided to take my testing live.


Anyway, have another question. What is the minimum amount I can use to test the api live, with MPESA.
