once the system is up, when my clients pay for a product, do u send me an email or is my client's account on my website updated that they have paid for the product. does pesapal work seamlessly without my intervention to update my clients account on my website? regards nick |

Hi,
When a client makes a payment, they are notified through a text message on their mobile phone and email where either has been provided or both. The merchant is also notified by email and text[if they allow the mobile update in their backend]. The seamless operation is also possible but you have to set up the code to do this. Pesapal has a return URL whereby you can specify the page that should be called once the payment process is complete. In this return URL you have to write the code to update your database since every client has his/her own database structure hence there is no possible way we can update their databases automatically unless the set up is done to allow this inaccordance to database structure. In this return URL, you can be able to call our status check API that will return to you the status of a payment ie, Pending, completed , Failed or Invalid Regards, Lazaro |
