Hi,I have moved from demo account to a live account but my MPESA paybill is still 220220(paybill for demo) instead of my own paybill number.So what do I do so as it can show my pay bill number for MPESA

Hi Joseph,
Unfortunately PesaPal does not send money directly to your account. We hold the money in our trust account and send it directly to your bank account when you initialize the withdrawal process. Hence, users have to pay to one paybill number i,e 220220. When working with the demo system, you do not send real money. We have a dummy mobile payment simulator for you to use. Just below the payments page, there is a message in red that has a link to our simulator. Note that if you send money to 220220 and use the confirmation code received from the mobile, the demo system will not recognize the payment and the status shall remain pending then fail after some hours. |
