Hey Larzo, am wondering why Pesapal (unlike other epay processors) does not have an option that allows me to send money to another pesapal user i.e peer -to-peer! what this translates to is that your system favors only business owners who would receive payments directly from their buyers. In fact, it's almost the only payment gateway I have seen that cannot allow membe-to- member transfer of funds. could you please explain this!
Secondly, your customer support might be the worst (I wonder if you've noted this) Thirdly, why wouldn't you allow say a person adding and confirming a phone number to chose for themselves the network. it's frustrating that if am joining from Kenya and confirming my number, your system tracks me as kenyan and fixes the (+254), this tells me a person would only transact when in their country. these days some networks are limited in other countries and people are quite mobile therefore locking us means our money can't do much. Fourth, would you please offer a functional way of adding money from airtel (Uganda) for instance, the procedure on your website is obsolete..while doing so, one is asked to enter a reference value (which you don't mention anywhere) and which people don't know..and one can't go past that point. please try it out and let people know...people are stuck. Thanks |

Hi domifaith,
Pesapal allows you to send money to another pesapal user. Login to your dashboard; On the top menu click the "pesapal credit" menu. You will be redirected to another page. On the left menu bar, you will see a menu item "send credit". Select this to allow sending credit to another pesapal user. Each day we work on improving our client experience hence one day you might not find a feature and the next day it’s there. We welcome all suggestions in helping you have the best experience. We are also working on improving our support system. This is a challenge that every growing company experiences in a certain stage of development. Mobile money can be used within the region of the mobile operator hence we have the code automatically appended to your number. There are business rules that at the moment do not allow us to allow transfer of mobile money across regions. For such transactions we have the visa and mastercard. However if i have money in my mobile account eg Airtel money Uganda and i travel to Tanzania, its possible to transact to a merchant in Uganda while still in Tanzania. We have noted the issue in the pesapal e-wallet (Uganda) and we are working to correct it as soon as possible. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and are working to correct these issues and also include more features that will improve your experience with us. |

Hey Larzo,
Thank you for this informative forum. Back to the issue, weeksa ago you promised that you were looking into the issue of funding pesapal through airtel Uganda. I feel there's no progress on this. I printed the step by step process you give on your site, took it to airtel head office but they asked me to get the "Referrence" code from Pesapal. One lady asked who Pesapal is? and said they don't see you in their system. Please save us. people are anxious but it's months and no progress. I feel this can take days to settle. The likely solution could be for us to fund our accounts using Safaricom but this is not supported by Pesapal, a Ugandan can only register Airtel uganda, no option to add Safaricom. Please attend to our issue as well. Thank you |

Hi domifaith,
Sorry for the wait regarding the airtel payment procedure. we are still working out to solve this issue. Uganda is a big priority to us and we are doing our best to solve this as soon as we can. The reference code refers to the code sent by Airtel after making a payment using their mobile service. Once again, we apologize for the anxiety. As soon as we get a solution we shall notify you. Regards, Lazaro |

Hello again,
any progress regarding funding of Pesapal using airtel Uganda? If airtel wont work, you could lookinto other options such as Orange Uganda, Warid Telecom, Uganda Telecom and or MTN uganda. Thank you |
