Hello team, i am a developer in Uganda. I have a few questions regarding pesapal integration in Uganda.
1. Which service providers are already integrated: MTN Mobile Money,Airtel Money,Warid Pesa ,... e.t.c. 2. Are there any specific information on the pesapal website about integrations within Uganda ? 3. If i am to pass on the customers Email Address within the payment request, i am having it that perhaps the client would have already first registered with pesapal such that they know his/her mobile number. Does this mean that all our customers MUST register with pesapal before hand, if we are to use their email addresses in the requests ? Thanks in advance |

Hi joshmuza,
To answer your queries: 1. In uganda, we accept payments using Airtel Money, Visa and MasterCard. We working on MTN monay which will be available soon. 2. The integration process is not country specific. This works across all countries. Our API is available at - developer.pesapal.com/how-to-integrate/step-by-step - github.com/itsmrwave/pesapal-php When opening a business account, make sure you select the correct country, an email will be sent to you with a set of keys that are used to determine what payment options to load. 3. Customers need not to be registered with PesaPal, as long as you have an account with the Mobile Money solutions or card solutions you are set to use PesaPal. We require either the customer's email address or phone number. |

Thank you so much for the reply.
Could you please indicate the correct/acceptable mobile number formats ? say +256-772-120556 ? or just 256772120556, or e.t.c. Also, indicate the acceptable amount figures for UGANDA, because your limits seem to be 70,000 KES,... what is the limit for UGANDAN Transactions ? Thank you. |
