I want users to subscribe to my site which i have constructed using joomla 3.Is it possible to use the pesapal donation plugin...?Or is there a another plugin to serve me better?In that case, do you have a plugin for joomla 3?

Currently we don't have the 3.0 version. This needs to be built. However, You could opt to use payment.pesapal.com, a system that allows you to receive payments/donations.

Currently this does not connect to your database at all. In future we shall introduce web-services to communicate with your server. If you need to check donations/payments made you have to login to the admin section on payments.pesapal.com or use the Merchant account dashboard on www.pesapal.com.

On your site you could add a button that links to payment.pesapal.com/[youraccountname] .We shall provide the account name.


I dint understand what you meant by determining the status of each account(subscribed or not subscribed). Please explain this.

What I mean is that my system needs to know who has paid the subscription fees so as to activate his/her account.And the process should realistically be automated because of high number of users.That is why I needed a way of automatically determining the payment status field in my database.How can you help me achieve this if I use your service?

Now i get what you mean. You have a component that manages subscriptions on your site, right? If so, what component are you using?

Unfortunately, the donations plugin can not help you on this. You need a payments plugin specific to your subscription component.

I tried using the API as you advised but this is the error I get: Problem: signature_invalid | Advice: > |
Probably it doesnt recognize my consumer secret.

Please check if you have included spaces at the end or beginning of the key/secret. This is the most common error.
