After the completion of transaction, I expect customer to receive email and sms. Only email is received but sms in user's phone is not.What might be the problem? I am using Virtuamart

Please confirm which email you are receive, the PesaPal email from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or the virtuemart order email? Ideally PesaPal notifications do not depend on the platform you are running on hence using Virtuemart is not a reason why you may not be receiving PesaPal notifications. However, I can confirm PesaPal SMS notifications are up and running. One probable reason is if you opted out of our SMS services at some point in the past. Remember there was a law that was passed some time back that gives the client the option to opt out of such SMS services. Kindly share your number on a mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and will check if this could be the issue. If possible, you could also test using a different line to see if the same issue occurs. |

You do not have to be a PesaPal client to receive SMSs. Please refer to my last previous post on this thread. Am yet to receive your details. |
