On demo.pesapal.com why does the payment status pending status take too long to change to complete?

We have been using it ok its just at times the status changes to completed immediately and then at times it can take a long time to change. like today. it took a who 4 hours for the status to change. This really inconveniences what we are currently testing

I have implemented the IPN though it still shows the PENDING status.
I tried the IPN and it returns "Found and retried 6 pending IPNs." and the still remains "PENDING"
