When can one be abe to test on sandbox, is it after signing the contract or after integration?

You can test on Sandbox after you finish integration.

For the contract, this is when you are done testing and are ready to go live.

On demo, do u use the given Api credentials or the real one? Is real cash being used because i have tested to pay from my website with mpesa option and the money was really deducted from my Mpesa account

On demo, you use the Keys provided on the dashboard at the bottom of the page(First page once you login and the first menu on the left). For the live website, these are sent on email.

Demo does not use real money, you use the link provided alongside the payment options from where you get Demo values to use - URL demo.pesapal.com/MobileMoneyTest/Index

The money you sent should be reversed since it will not be accepted on demo

You can open a ticket at support.pesapal.com to have that resolved

How do use this url in website for testing: URL demo.pesapal.com/MobileMoneyTest/Index

Am using prestashop pesapal module, i have replaced the codes in pesapal.php folder with the sample given on website so that i can test on demo.pesapal.com, Now the module throws this error on my dashboard:
1. pesapal (parse error in /modules/pesapal/pesapal.php)
2. pesapal (class missing in /modules/pesapal/pesapal.php)
How can i solve this because i cant test on sandbox though my real site is working(by showing the pesapal payment option)

For the errors, kindly confirm the Prestashop version you are using.

To use the MobileMoneyTest link shared, all you need to do is

1. Choose the payment options eg M-Pesa
2. Enter your phone number and the amount to pay as on the iframe
3. Submit the form.

Once you submit the form, you will get the dummy confirmation code at the bottom of the page (If you selected any other option from the tabs, you need to re-select the option tab to see the dummy code).

Copy this dummy code, and go back to the demo iframe. Insert the phone number you used in step 2 and paste the dummy code. Submit the form.

To test cards:

1. Select Visa
2. Fill your personal details and submit the form.
3. On the next screen, input the test card details. The placeholder values are the test details plus any future date as the card expiry date..
   • Card number: 4111111111111111
   • CVV: 962
   • Expiry date: Any month future date
